About SpaceRaiser
What if every act of hate funded the people it targeted?
The Moment It Clicked
In 2018, a then-obscure congresswoman from Georgia shared a Facebook post suggesting that wildfires in California were caused by a space laser controlled by a prominent Jewish banking family. Jewish. Space. Lasers. That was the theory.
The internet did what the internet does — mocked her, memed her, argued with her supporters. But here's what didn't happen: none of it actually helped the Jewish community. The ADL didn't get a dime from the outrage. No one fighting antisemitism benefited. The congresswoman got exactly what she wanted — attention — and the people she targeted got nothing.
That's when it clicked. What if, instead of feeding the troll, every person who saw that post had pledged even $18 to the ADL? What if the headline wasn't “Congresswoman promotes antisemitic conspiracy” but “Antisemitic conspiracy theory accidentally raises $2 million for Jewish charities”?
That's SpaceRaiser. We don't argue with trolls. We don't report posts that never get taken down. We turn their words into funding for the communities they hate. And honestly, we owe Marjorie Taylor Greene a thank-you note — her space laser conspiracy was the best fundraising idea we've ever heard.
How It Works
Someone posts something hateful
A tweet, a Reddit comment, a Facebook post — any public hate speech targeting a community. You capture it with a screenshot or URL.
You pledge a donation
Pick a charity that supports the targeted community. Pledge $18, $36, $54 — whatever you want. We send you a direct link to the charity's donation page to fulfill your pledge on the honor system.
You reply with the receipt
We generate a sarcastic Certificate of Contribution and a ready-to-post response. Reply to the troll: “Thanks for inspiring $54 to the ADL!” Then share the campaign link so others can pile on.
Others pile on
Your friends, your community, total strangers — anyone can add their pledge to the same campaign. The number keeps growing. The troll's one hateful post now has a dollar amount attached to it, and it keeps going up.
Why It Works
Reporting doesn't work.We all know it. You report a post, it stays up for weeks, maybe it gets a vague “community guidelines” label that nobody reads.
Arguing feeds them. Trolls want engagement. Every angry reply is a win for them. They screenshot the outrage and share it with their friends.
But this? This changes the equation. Now their hate has a price tag — and it's payable to the people they despise. Every like, every share, every repost of their hateful message just drives more pledges. The more they hate, the more we raise.
Chapters
SpaceRaiser is organized into chapters — each one focused on a specific community or cause. The Israel chapter fights antisemitism. Others fight racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, ableism — any form of targeted hate.
Each chapter has its own charities, its own leaderboard, and its own community. You can participate in as many chapters as you want. If there isn't a chapter for the hate you're seeing, you can apply to start one.
Teams & Competition
Form a team within your chapter. Invite friends, colleagues, your synagogue, your college group — anyone. Compete on the weekly and all-time leaderboards. See which team can turn the most hate into the most good. It's fundraising as a sport, with trolls as the unwitting sponsors.
The Honor System
Right now, SpaceRaiserworks on the honor system. When you pledge, we send you a direct link to the charity's donation page. You donate on their site, and you mark your pledge as fulfilled on ours.
We chose this approach intentionally. We don't want to handle your money. We don't want to take a cut. We just want to make it ridiculously easy to turn hate into donations. If the concept proves itself, we'll explore direct payment integration so the process is seamless.
Your Privacy
Given the nature of this site — responding to hate speech — we take your privacy seriously. Your real name and email are never shown publicly. You choose an anonymous username and optional avatar. Each pledge lets you pick a different display name. We don't sell data. We don't track you across the web. We exist to fight hate, not to monetize your attention.
A Non-Profit Initiative
SpaceRaiseris a non-profit initiative. Zero percent of pledges go to us. We don't run ads. The platform is built and maintained by volunteers who got tired of watching hate go unanswered. If you want to support the platform itself, you can — but your pledges always go directly to charity.
